Ew! Jennifer Lawrence revealed that she had to pee through a funnel while in her costume for the film 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' and sometimes it would get all over her! That's commitment! They say you have to suffer for your art! Jennifer Lawrence, 25, admitted that she had to pee all over herself in her X-Men costume. Unfortunately, the designers of the costume didn't make it bathroom accessible, so the actress had to pee through a funnel while standing up! To make matters worse, the funnel didn't always work properly, causing J-Law to pee all over herself!
“I can’t sit down, so I have to pee out of like a funnel, and I just can never get it right. There is no way to do it and not drip on yourself,” Jennifer joked in an interview with BBC‘s Greg James. Mystique might go down as one of Jennifer’s messiest roles. Not only does the star have to get painted blue each day, but she couldn’t even use the bathroom properly!
“That’s why we stay away from Jennifer, ” her partner in crime James McAvoy, 37, joked while beside her. Not even a little pee could keep people away from the magnificent J-Law, that’s just what makes her all the more lovable. Okay, maybe a little pee could keep people away, but that doesn’t make her any less lovable!
In typical Jennifer fashion, she laughed the whole incident off and basically said it’s all in a day’s work. Considering she’s been playing this role since 2011, she’s probably just used to the experience by now. What a trooper!
Consider this just another reason to love the Joy actress. Or at least proof that Hollywood is not all glitz and glam, and there is a downside to every job. Thanks for always keeping it one hundred, Jen!
